News & Events!
October 22: 5K Update: Runners, our timing company, MTEC, has updated the 5K results information to show that your time is for a distance of 3.55 miles, which is the actual distance of Sunday's race.
October 20: Attention 5K Runners:
First, thank you very much for joining us this morning! Shortly after the first few runners finished the 5K race, it became apparent that the course was long. After talking with the official who measured the course, who was in attendance, it was determined that the course was marked correctly, however, there was a rare error made in the measurement. The actual distance run was .45 miles (or .724205 km) long so if you ran an eight-minute mile, your time was approximately 4 minutes slower than it would have been for a 5K. The 10 mile course was accurate. We apologize for this unfortunate error and thank you again for joining us this morning.

April 24 - Lift Bridge Adds a 15 Mile Distance and New Routes. Big news! We're adding a 15 mile distance to the Oct. 20 race making our race roster 15 mile, 10 mile and 5K. To accommodate construction in the downtown Stillwater area, we've also developed new courses for all three distances to take advantage of the beautiful St. Croix River Valley. We're calling it the Bayport Route as all races will start and end at Lakeside Park in Bayport just south of Stillwater off of Highway 95. It's a beautiful area with ample parking and easy access from the cities. Check here for more details and course maps, and updated registration on MarathonGuide.com.
April 18 - Lift Bridge Moves to Sunday Oct. 20. Due to anticipated construction in Stillwater we expect a busy fall season in the area. So, we're moving the race to Sunday morning Oct. 20. Watch for details. Hope to see you there.
